Made from wild crafted California White Sage and Yerba Santa harvested from the mountains of Southern California. White Sage is believed to have protective properties to ward off negative energies and sprits. Yerba Santa was used extensively as a traditional medicine by many California indigenous peoples. It is said that the leaves were smoked or chewed to relieve asthma, coughs, colds, headaches, and stomachaches. Hairy Yerba Santa is the variety that is commonly found in Southern California. Small bundles, approximately 4½ inches long and 1½ inches in diameter.
