Epidote with Prehnite

Gorgeous specimen of Prehnite on Epidote from Mali. This pieces with grape-like Prehnite have been highly collectible for quite some time with many being found in the 1990's. The specimens we have are from newer finds, but are very limited.

These formations are found in metamorphic locales where Epidote crystallizes, with secondary hydrothermal activity allowing for the Prehnite to grow onto the Epidote.
